On this page you will find the general product safety information that we provide under the European General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR, Regulation (EU) 2023/988). The information that relates specifically to an individual product — manufacturer details, type or model designation and the warnings for that product — is on the product page itself. This page does not replace that information, but supplements it.

Responsible economic operator

Products sold under the Welvana brand are placed on the market by the company below. That company is therefore the manufacturer within the meaning of Article 13 GPSR and, as a manufacturer established in the European Union, also the responsible economic operator within the meaning of Article 16 GPSR:

PolyValent Payroll B.V. (trading name Welvana)
Kempstraat 151
2572 GD The Hague
Netherlands
Email: Welvana@outlook.com
Phone: +31 6 53 21 22 20
KvK: 73451568

Where we sell a product of another brand, the name and contact details of the manufacturer — and, if the manufacturer is established outside the EU, of the designated responsible person within the EU — are stated on the product page for that product.

Conformity

For products for which an EU declaration of conformity has been drawn up, we make it available on request free of charge. Request it via Welvana@outlook.com, stating the product; you will receive it by email within five working days.

Reporting a safety issue

Do you think one of our products is unsafe, or has a product caused damage or injury? Report it via Welvana@outlook.com with your order number, the product and a description or photo. We respond within two working days at the latest, investigate the report, keep a register of complaints received and, where necessary, inform the competent authorities via the Safety Business Gateway. In the event of a recall, we will contact you ourselves at the email address used for your order.

General safety instructions for electrical devices

These instructions are general. Always consult the warnings on the product page and in the manual supplied with the specific product.

  • Read the supplied manual in full before first use and keep it.
  • Use the device only for its intended purpose and only with the supplied adapter or the adapter specified by us.
  • Do not use the device on damaged, inflamed or irritated skin, on open wounds, directly over bones or joints, or on the neck at the level of the carotid artery.
  • Not suitable for children under 14 years of age. Keep the device and the packaging out of the reach of children.
  • Do not use the device during pregnancy, or if you have thrombosis, varicose veins, osteoporosis, a pacemaker or other implants, or an acute injury. In doubt? Consult your GP or physiotherapist first.
  • Stop immediately in the event of pain, tingling, dizziness or skin discolouration.
  • Do not use the device for longer than the time stated in the manual per muscle group.
  • Do not use in the bath, in the shower or in a damp environment, unless the device is expressly intended for such use.
  • Only charge the device under supervision and on a non-flammable surface. Stop using the device if the housing, cable or battery is damaged.

Our products are wellness and comfort products. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries

Devices with a built-in rechargeable battery do not belong in general household waste. Hand them in at a collection point for small chemical waste or at a shop that takes back batteries. Damaged or swollen batteries must never be opened or punctured yourself.

Waste electrical equipment (WEEE)

The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol means that the product must be collected separately at the end of its life. Hand in waste electrical equipment at your municipal recycling centre or at a shop with a collection point. This way raw materials are reused and harmful substances are processed safely.

Packaging

Separate paper, cardboard and plastic in line with your local authority's guidelines.

Legal guarantee

In addition to your 14-day right of withdrawal, you are entitled to a sound product. A product must do what you may reasonably expect of it, for a period appropriate to the nature and price of the product. Is something not working as it should? Get in touch with us — see our returns policy, the model withdrawal form and our terms and conditions.
