Doesn't foam rolling hurt?
A slightly tender feeling is normal, especially at first. Roll slowly, avoid bones and joints and keep breathing calmly. After a few sessions it starts to feel more and more pleasant.

Safety and use

Don't roll over bones, joints, the head, the neck, open wounds, varicose veins, inflammation or bruises. Don't use the roller if you have thrombosis, osteoporosis, or during pregnancy, without consulting a doctor first. Use it on a stable, flat surface, check the foam for tears or wear before use, and stop if you feel sharp pain, tingling or dizziness. See Product safety.
